My partner and i originally ranked this unit 4 stars, but regrettably after acquiring two units that broke immediately, I would change this to simply no stars if i could. I bought this unit primarily to make crushed ice for tea and cocktails, and to make ice in which fits effortlessly into water bottles regarding biking and school use. It worked well well for your application when it worked in any way. The advertised settings regarding ice to make snowcones and slushies tend to be non existent, which has been a frustration. It can make chunks regarding ice about 1/2 in . big, a handful of larger and a few smaller. The feet of the machine tend to be little vacuum suckers, so the machine does not necessarily slide close to during use. UPDATE: Unit worked well fine with no less than jamming for around 10 nights, and then the blades stopped turning. As for each instructions, I allow it to sit to see if there was an item of ice trapped, but in order to no get. The engine buzzed, but practically nothing was transferring there. I came back it in order to Amazon with an exchange. I’ll give it a second try, but in the event that this unit fails, then I’ll return it for a refund and try the particular Waring furthermore listed on this website.
