Kenwood Kac-8105D Best Review

This kind of amp could be the revised version with the 8104D. If an individual read those reviews, you will see mixed critiques… on the good.. they praise the energy and appear quality… on the bad these people complain regarding overheating issues. I just installed this amp today… cant tell you extensive reasearch type details but I have a JL 500/1 to compare to. This amp says 500 watts the same as my JL but for the stereo noobs out there… these are not in exactly the same class… JL is more advanced audiophile quality while this kenwood was made for budget-minded those who still need quality. This amp sent my JL 12w6v2 just fine but I had trouble getting the gain perfectly… I has been getting distortion at higher volumes nonetheless it was due to my Mp3 player being up excessive. This amp did not make my car lights dim just like the JL will and We dont have a capacitor either.
I rode around for around 4 hrs bumping the device with the JL sub in for about a couple of hrs and it never reduce out or appeared to overheat at all. The amp is fairly simple to set up… took me personally 2 hours from learn to finish and I had to run every one of the wiring in my GFs automobile.
Overall fantastic quality and for that price… I dont know if you can find others that can compare… Highly suggested for someone on the budget(like most of us these days) which still wants to acquire a little more out of their method without breaking the bank.
