Pioneer DEH-1300MP CD Receiver User Reviews

Posted by org on 28/01/2012

Greatest entry-level deck in the marketplace. First of most, it’s any Pioneer, which immediately means 1. it sounds better than anyone else’s (Kenwood, Alpine, and specifically Sony and Clarion; only JVC arrives close), 2. it may play ANY KIND OF CD, even some sloppily burnt off-brand rewritable that has been through nuclear bombings, and 3. it’ll most likely last permanently (We have owned several Pioneer outside patio’s since 2001 with not merely one problem).

Even about this bottom-end stripper model you nevertheless get all the basics, unlike in years past: MP3 COMPACT DISK playback, a 3-way equalizer, and a good Aux jack port for transportable players. As an added bonus, the DEH-1300MP escapes the most common Pioneer drawback of irritating ergonomics: the clock and show buttons are better placed this year, and it’s the only model in the 2011 selection whose on/off switch is the volume knob rather than some tiny-ass buried button.

From what I could tell, the things missing from Pioneer’s higher-end designs is:
-A 24-bit digital-to-analog converter, whatever that’s (this one’s is actually 12-bit)
-RDS with regard to displaying song/artist details when listening to FM
-A top USB jack port (best for charging your Music player, and directly controlling iPods)
-A 3. 5mm jack in the back (if you wish to buy a good adapter to help keep your controls controls in existence)
-A second group of preouts
-Custom colour display
-HD and/or satellite tv radio
-Extra sound tricks just like a 6-band equalizer and high-pass filtration
-Bluetooth
I file everything in the nice-but-not-necessary category.

For the record, the appear isn’t really as clean as about Pioneer’s increased models… somehow, that final 10% is actually missing. I’m not sure which model marks the purpose of development (some units in the test space weren’t working that evening), but in any event I’m not really docking any stars cuz the $70 MSRP is so modest.

Basically, this outdoor patio has strong sound, a reasonable price, all essential features, and no real defects. Hook it up to quartet regarding Infinity loudspeakers and you have got the greatest car stereo in your area.
